Road - Drive your self
There are several routes to Westgate-On-Sea from the M2 motor
way, but the following directions are probably the easiest
to follow. Once on the M2
leave at junction
7 into Thanet
Way (A299
- signs to Margate),
then at St.
Nicholas Roundabout take the first main exit onto the
A28
to Westgate-On-Sea
via Birchington. Once on the main Canterbury
Road in Westgate-On-Sea, turn left into St
Mildreds Road, drive past a few shops on the right and
the cinema on the left, continue through the junction
of Westgate Bay Avenue and finally turn right into Sea
Road. St
Christopher's is number 15 on the right.
Use
the Automobile Association's route
planner to get a printable road map from your own front
door [Tip - leave the hyphens out of the destination e.g.
westgate on sea].

Road - Go by Coach

Ferries
& Airports
The nearest airport is the rather small London
City Airport which is 60 miles away (100 km) and serves
mostly european routes, while Heathrow,
Gatwick
and Stanstead provide the best global air services and are
well connected to the major rail arteries. If you are flying
from abroad, we recommend that you use one of the big three
and take the train from London Victoria to Westgate-On-Sea.
Dover
is one of the largest ports in England and provides many sea
links to passengers who wish to tour with their car, to or
from the continent. The
P & O Ferry Company is one of the major operators
at Dover, and should be your 'first port of call' for passage
information. Although the Channel
Tunnel and the Eurostar
have increased the trans-continental options!
